546 (541 Ayurvedic and 05 Unani) government Ayurvedic and Unani hospitals and 02 hospitals are operated in Government Ayurvedic College Rishikul and Gurukul Kangdi, Haridwar.

AYUSH wings are established in 206 allopathic hospitals, in which 26 AYUSH wings operate in district hospitals and 180 AYUSH wings operate in government allopathic hospitals.

Under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), AYUSH wings are operated in 29 Community Health Centers and 154 Primary Health Centers, in which the funds for medicines and decorations are provided by the Department of AYUSH, Government of India and the amount of salary is provided by the National Rural Health Mission.
